Lea Kalisch is known for many things – she’s a rapper, a film director, a Jewish Pop Star, and the creator of the Shtetl Cabaret. This night of entertainment is delivered by Lea alongside her band featuring Rabbi Tobias Moss, and with special guest appearances of their bandmates from local favorite JEWBALAYA. The young and zestful energy will have audiences laughing and crying to traditional melodies, original songs, and mashups from rap to rumba, all the way to folk. Lea blends styles and languages like a smoothie, and one you cannot wait to drink.

 

Lea Kalisch is a Jerome Hill artist fellow and creator of Un Tango Para Rachel, a Yiddish Tango film currently touring world festivals.
