The popular event is curated and hosted by Ben Cook-Feltz & KFAI’s Ellen Stanley(a.k.a. Mother Banjo) and features performances by Minnesota’s top folk, blues and Americana acts.   Lauded as one of America’s greatest songwriters, the former mailman and 4-time Grammy winner was known for many songs that have become American standards like “Paradise,” “Angel From Montgomery” and “Hello In There.” The event will include performances of these Prine classics as well as some lesser known favorites. All proceeds benefit the Hello In There Foundation, established by John Prine’s family and offering support for people who are marginalized, discriminated against or, for any reason, are otherwise forgotten. #gap-611349406 { padding-top: 30px; } #gap-1121439752 { padding-top: 22px; } #image_463377186 { width: 100%; } This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a Minnesota State Arts Board Operating Support grant, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. #col-1538073216 > .col-inner { padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; margin: 0px 0px -21px 0px; } #row-303575885 > .col > .col-inner { padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; } #col-182429727 > .col-inner { margin: 0px 0px -27px 0px; } #row-1572309383 > .col > .col-inner { padding: 0px 0px 15px 0px; }
