The opening set showcases Joel Shapira on guitar paired with Larry McDonough on piano, reprising their sublime duo tribute to jazz greats Bill Evans and Jim Hall. Vocalist Charmin Michelle then joins the duo to recreate tunes by Monk, Porter, Holiday, Horace Silver and more. Expect beautiful harmonies,, romantic melodies and swinging classics. Pianist Larry McDonough has been a mainstay on the Twin Cities jazz scene for over 40 years.
