Sunken Planes w. Field Hospitals, BIG INTO

Sunken Planes is a loud and catchy Indie rock outfit out of Minneapolis. They released their Debut EP “Intersections” in 2024 which has garnered substantial College and Freeform radio airplay across the U.S. and beyond. Their sound blends jangly guitars enveloped by razor sharp angular guitar lines, a driving rhythm section and unforgettable melodies. They have been playing live shows around the Twin Cities since the EP’s release. The band is working on a new full-length album to hopefully be released in 2025. Sunken Planes consists of Michael Banning-Guitars/Vocals, Jacob Poling- Guitars, Joel Almberg- Bass Guitar, Nick Blake-Drums.     Minneapolis’ Field Hospitals draw on decades of nervy jangle rock tradition with sharp songwriting and taut live performances that hint at the members’ background in Midwestern post punk. Drawing from the deep well of classic indie, Field Hospitals connect early American indie bands like REM and the Feelies with influences from British Commonwealth legends the Go-Betweens, the Clean, and Teenage Fanclub. The result is a sound that will appeal to fans of recent critically acclaimed bands like the Tubs, Sharp Pins, Ducks Ltd., and Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever. Guitar/Vocals – Hank Henry, Guitar – Dan Ganin, Bass – Matt Helgeson, Drums – Jeff Ball     BIG INTO is a spacey, two-piece weirdo indie rock band featuring a couple o’ Minnesota experimental rock vets: vocalist and guitar player Jozef Conaway and drummer and vocalist Curtis Kraft Mattson.
