The Minnesota Music Resistance presents our inaugural awareness and fundraising event – Fight for YOUR Civil Rights – supporting ACLU MN. We’ll be gathering Sunday June 22 at the Hook and Ladder Theater and presenting entertainment that represents a variety of genres on multiple stages from 2:00 – 7:00 PM. Our Goal Is To: Help our community through funding/donating to the American Civil Liberties Union of Minnesota Foundation. Inform and educate the attendees through direct conversation and printed materials as well as continued access to community. Entertainment includes: Main stage: Ganser (last) Christy Costello Turn Turn Turn The Silent Treatment The Muatas Dad Bod (starting at 2pm) Lounge Stage: The Daily Norm, Walken Schweigert of Open Flame, Strong Buffalo, M.A.Y. The Hook’s outdoor space will also be utilized for non-profit organizations to share information and conversations time. Additionally we will have Open Flame Theatre performing sets. The Minnesota Music Resistance uses music, good trouble and grassroots, collective activism to raise resources and to support and connect communities.
