Minnesota Music Resistance Event To Benefit The American Civil Liberties Union
FIGHT! For Your Civil Rights!
featuring: Turn Turn Turn, The Muatas, The Silent Treatment, Dad Bod; Ganser; Christy Costello, The Daily Norm, Walken Schweigert of Open Flame, Strong Buffalo, M.A.Y.
Our Goal Is To:
- Help our community through funding/donating to the American Civil Liberties Union of Minnesota Foundation.
- Inform and educate the attendees through direct conversation and printed materials as well as continued access to community.
Main stage:
Lounge Stage: The Daily Norm, Walken Schweigert of Open Flame, Strong Buffalo, M.A.Y.
The Hook’s outdoor space will also be utilized for non-profit organizations to share information and conversations time. Additionally we will have Open Flame Theatre performing sets.
The Minnesota Music Resistance uses music, good trouble and grassroots, collective activism to raise resources and to support and connect communities. We are committed to human rights, inclusion and the fight against authoritarianism that threatens all of our livelihoods and existence.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a Minnesota State Arts Board Operating Support grant, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
