Gavin Strappe

Gavin Strappe was born in South Tipperary and began playing the Tenor Banjo at the age of ten. It was at this stage that Gavin developed a huge passion for Irish music and also began to play Mandolin and Tenor Guitar. This resulted in Gavin enjoying much success at Fleadh Cheol competitions with him winning numerous competitions at county, provincial and All-Ireland level.

Gavin has toured extensively around the world with numerous bands and ensembles including shows such as Brú Ború and Celtic Legends as well as headlining numerous North American festivals with JigJam.
