Mac and Cheese
October 12 @ 8:00 pm - 11:45 pm
Pete McCauley and Tim Cheesebrow are a duo from the Twin Cities, bringing old tunes to life and having a great time doing it.
Pete McCauley (vocals, mandolin, guitar): Pete has played in numerous bands over the years. A founding member and the original guitarist for the rock trio Eddie Mac, he spent a few years traveling the country, earned a record contract with SPV Records in Germany, and released two albums with the independent label Mud Hut Records. Pete also writes material for the Hounds of Finn. Pete met Tim a few years back and asked if they should learn some pub tunes and make some noise together…the rest, as they say, is history. Not the kind of history that would make it into any sort of book, but since it is in the past, it technically is…history.
Tim Cheesebrow (guitar, vocals, occasional mandolin and pennywhistle): Tim is primarily a singer/songwriter. He’ s got 6 or so albums under his belt, several tours and an extensive solo performance career. He’s always had a spot in his heart for traditional Irish and American folk songs, and jumped at a chance to play this music with Pete. He’s the founder of Discover Music, a non-profit that teaches kids to write songs as a healthy mode of self discovery and expression, and is the author of “Songwriting for Wellness: Using Music to Heal the Mind.”
