Bring your cold hands and warm hearts down to Crooners and help Kevin Kling and his pal Victor Zupanc take the edge off winter’s chill with stories and songs like the marshmallow in the cocoa of life. If Shakespeare would have said, “Shall I compare thee to a winter’s day?” this show would be why! Kevin Kling: Stories Victor Zupanc: Songs Kevin Kling is a beloved storyteller and an award winning playwright and writer whose plays have been produced in regional theaters, including The Guthrie, Seattle Rep, Cincinnati Playhouse, the Goodman, Kennedy Center, Denver Center and off Broadway at Westside Arts and Second Stage Theater. He has written five books and appears often on PBS and Minnesota Public Radio. His PBS autobiographical documentary Kevin Kling: Lost and Found won a Regional Emmy. Victor Zupanc has been a composer, music director, sound designer and performer on over 300 plays at some of the most prestigious theaters in America and abroad winning many awards for his work. Since 1989, he has been the resident Music Director/Composer at the Tony Award winning Children’s Theatre Company of Minneapolis. Heavy Funk & Rare Soul Dance Party

Formed in the space between Maple Grove and Rochester, Betty and the Rubble brings a raw, energetic mix of indie rock and garage with a Midwestern twist. Known for their fiery live performances and a sound that channels both the grit of the Twin Cities’ music scene and the infectious hooks of classic rock, the band is all about keeping it real—authentic, loud, and unapologetic. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Jenny Lewis, Florence and the Machine, and Wilco, Betty and the Rubble’s music captures the tension between vulnerability and defiance. Their debut EP received praise for its infectious energy, and new music is soon to be released!   Jealous Brother is an Americana style rock and roll band with members hailing from Rochester, Spring Valley and Wabasha Minnesota.    They perform original songs, drawing strong influence from the 90s Minneapolis music scene and bands like Husker Du, The Jayhawks and Soul Asylum.  Their original songs feature vocal harmonies, lyrics with a twist of comedy, and stylings from a classically trained violinist.
