Together\, they explore the rhythms\, lyricism\, and soulful spirit that define each culture – offering music that is both energizing and deeply moving. \nThis concert is presented free of charge through the generous support of the Matson Music Fund. While admission is free\, reserved tickets are required. \nFollowing the performance\, all are warmly invited to stay for an informal reception and the opportunity to meet the artists. \n\n\nA BOUT CONCERTS BY THE CREEK \nThe Concerts by the Creek music series exists to offer music lovers from the Twin Cities community a welcoming environment with world-class musical performances across a wide range of genres. This series is presented by St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church to share the gift of live music and make it accessible to all those who seek the shared and moving connection that music brings. \nConcerts may be followed by an informal reception providing a unique opportunity to meet and engage with the musicians. We have a fantastic concert series lineup for the 2023 season! We hope you’ll join us for amazing music in a beautiful space. \nAll are welcome to attend these concerts. You do not need to be affiliated with St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in anyway. \n\n\nHISTORIC ST. STEPHEN’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH \nThese events will take place in historic St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. This beautiful building was built in 1937 when the new Country Club District was forming. As the first protestant church in Edina\, St. Stephen’s was and remains a true community church nestled into the surrounding neighborhood on the banks of Minnehaha Creek. \nSigns will be posted directing you to the event location. View GPS navigation through Google Maps. \nPARKING \nSt. Stephen’s does not have an onsite parking lot. Parking is available in the public lots connected to Utley and Wooddale Parks just West of the church. Street parking is also available. This means you may have to park a short distance away from the church and walk. We strongly encourage carpooling\, use of ride services such as Uber/Taxi\, and taking public transportation. \nThere is a bus stop directly opposite the church entrance. Bike parking is also available onsite. \nACCESSIBILITY \nDue to the historic nature of the building\, the church has some limited accessibility accommodations. We apologize for these inconveniences. While we strive to be welcoming to all\, there are limitations within this historic space. If you have any questions about accommodations or accessibility needs\, contact  concertsbythecreek@ststephens.com or call 952-920-0595. \nHere are a few details to know: \nA limited number of handicap-accessible parking spots will be available near the entrance of the church on Wooddale Avenue. \nThere is an accessible entrance to the church on Wooddale Avenue. \nAll seating is in fixed pews – there are spaces reserved for wheelchairs but they are limited. Please contact the event organizer at concertsbythecreek@ststephens.com to see if there are wheelchair-accessible spaces available. \nA handicapped-accessible restroom is available. \nCANCELLATIONS \nShould an unavoidable circumstance arise requiring the cancellation of a concert\, all attendees holding reserved tickets will be notified via email and we will update the event page on our website and social channels. We will also contact those holding reserved tickets with rescheduled concerts dates as appropriate.

We will sing everything from Stevie Nicks to Stevie Wonder\, Showtunes and Sing-A-Longs and of course it will also be hilarious and heart warming. \nErin Schwab: Vocals \nSophie Todaro: Vocals \nJay Fuchs: Piano\, Vocals \nErin Schwab and Jay Fuchs have been playing together in the Twin Cities and across the US for over 20 years. Erin and Jay have played all of the stages at Crooners for years and have written and performed many shows including 1967: Summer of Love\, Erin sings Bette and their VERY popular Naughty and Nice Holiday Shows! They have played Clubs\, Theaters\, Weddings\, Fundraisers\, Garages\, Living Rooms\, Corporate and Political Events. Both Erin and Jay have also been Music and Theater Educators for years. Jay was the head of the Theory and Composition Department at McNally Smith College of Music for years and Erin was on the Voice & Ensemble Faculty there as well. Erin is the audience coordinator and a regular Jason Show Contributor on Fox 9.
