Local favorites Famous Volcanoes (who released their debut album at the same place with the same lineup last spring) round out the bill. \n—\nMinneapolis-based indie rock band The Long Honeymoon has been filling venues and exciting fans for nearly 3 years with their high-energy shows\, featuring original songs with their signature multi-part harmonies\, deft arrangements and tight grooves. Its members\, veterans of a variety of beloved Twin Cities’ bands (The Humbugs\, Lee Rude\, Atomic Flea\, The Bazillions\, Charlie Bucket\, and The Radio Spares)\, combine a deep love of classic pop-rock with a modern sound and joyous spirit.\n \n\n“The World is Waiting\,” the band’s debut album\, released in October of 2025\, contains 11 original songs that have been road-tested over the past several years at bars\, outdoor venues\, and breweries. The album was produced by the band with help from local legends Jacques Wait (Rank Strangers\, The Twilight Hours) and David J. Russ (ELnO\, Something Fierce\, Holiday Ranch\, Dan Israel)\, and released in October\, 2025. “\,” the band’s latest EP\, will be released in conjunction with this show on April 24.  \n\n—\nThe de’Lindas – a tribute to the delectably\, delightful\, de’lovely musical stylings of Linda Ronstadt. \n—\nFor 20 years Famous Volcanoes has been spewing musical lava of rock\, rootsy Americana\, and multi-layered twang pop. With three full length recordings\, including their newest album Swirl\, released in the fall of 2025\, this five piece Minneapolis band have performed on stages from regional dive bars to Hollywood hotspots to back yard BBQs.

Formed in 2010\, the band quickly rose through the local music scene\, selling out shows and touring nationally as their reputation spread. \nFrontwoman Jelly leads with a rare blend of innocence and ferocity\, delivering performances that are both raw and magnetic. Guitarist Eric Mitchell and bassist Chris Reifsteck provide the backbone of the band with groovy riffs and soulful tones that drive the sound forward. The band’s original lineup also included drummer and founding member Paul Solem\, whose powerful presence helped shape The Jelly Project’s identity until his passing from cancer in 2024. \nAt their peak\, The Jelly Project became one of the most sought-after rock acts in the Twin Cities. Highlights from this era include multiple sold-out shows\, national tours\, a performance at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip\, winning a Battle of the Bands in 2015\, and gaining notoriety for challenging the status quo of local radio media. \nIn 2016\, the band went on hiatus as members shifted focus toward families and new careers. Following the loss of Paul Solem in 2024\, the remaining founding members—Jelly\, Eric\, and Chris—have felt a renewed calling to honor the band’s legacy. Leaving six studio albums in their path\, they have been reinventing their music with every record. Spit from the heart of America’s Rust Belt\, arising from a night of flophouse violence. Drifting across the states\, they cemented their sound in Portland\, OR and later in Los Angeles\, CA\, where they lived in abandoned buildings\, squatter camps\, storage units and shoebox apartments. In 2007\, they left everything behind and spent the next four years living out of whatever vehicle would get them to the next town. Building upon their original sound of twanged-out\, punk rock “gutterbilly” (Life of Sin 2004 and Gutterbillyblues 2007)\, they began picking up stray musicians along the way and adding to their sound; washboard\, accordion\, mandolin and banjo (Ghost of th’ Rails 2009 and 7 Devils 2011) creating a sound referred to as “hobocore”\, “gypsy-punk” or “americana-punk”\, while never being stuck in any one sound. Enter 2018 and The Goddamn Gallows have reinvented themselves once again with The Trial. From rockabilly\, psychobilly and punk rock\, to bluegrass and metal\, The Trial infuses disparate sounds into a new strange recipe of seamless genre bending profundities. Chock full of impromptu antics of the shocking variety and hauntingly eclectic instrumentation\, The Goddamn Gallows have made legions of fans with their legendary\, live shows. The Goddamn Gallows\, takes their progression of mixing punk rock\, bluegrass\, psychobilly\, and metal to a whole new level!
