Great for fans of Garage a Trois\, Delvon Lamarr\, and anyone who likes progressive takes on Afro-Peruvian music. \n  \n\n \nAudrey Q writes off-kilter\, classically-informed pop songs for her own voice\, 3 cellos\, and drums. Her songs range from dark\, sparse meditations to sunny\, catchy bops. Her credits as a cellist include touring with big productions like Hamilton and The Who\, but as a songwriter she’s happy playing house shows and neighborhood bars. DESCRIPTION:Pete McCauley and Tim Cheesebrow are a duo from the Twin Cities\, bringing old tunes to life and having a great time doing it. \nPete McCauley (vocals\, mandolin\, guitar): Pete has played in numerous bands over the years. A founding member and the original guitarist for the rock trio Eddie Mac\, he spent a few years traveling the country\, earned a record contract with SPV Records in Germany\, and released two albums with the independent label Mud Hut Records. Pete also writes material for the Hounds of Finn. Pete met Tim a few years back and asked if they should learn some pub tunes and make some noise together…the rest\, as they say\, is history. Not the kind of history that would make it into any sort of book\, but since it is in the past\, it technically is…history. \nTim Cheesebrow (guitar\, vocals\, occasional mandolin and pennywhistle): Tim is primarily a singer/songwriter. He’ s got 6 or so albums under his belt\, several tours and an extensive solo performance career. He’s always had a spot in his heart for traditional Irish and American folk songs\, and jumped at a chance to play this music with Pete. He’s the founder of Discover Music\, a non-profit that teaches kids to write songs as a healthy mode of self discovery and expression\, and is the author of “Songwriting for Wellness: Using Music to Heal the Mind.” \nfacebook page

Local favorites Famous Volcanoes (who released their debut album at the same place with the same lineup last spring) round out the bill. \n—\nMinneapolis-based indie rock band The Long Honeymoon has been filling venues and exciting fans for nearly 3 years with their high-energy shows\, featuring original songs with their signature multi-part harmonies\, deft arrangements and tight grooves. Its members\, veterans of a variety of beloved Twin Cities’ bands (The Humbugs\, Lee Rude\, Atomic Flea\, The Bazillions\, Charlie Bucket\, and The Radio Spares)\, combine a deep love of classic pop-rock with a modern sound and joyous spirit.\n \n\n“The World is Waiting\,” the band’s debut album\, released in October of 2025\, contains 11 original songs that have been road-tested over the past several years at bars\, outdoor venues\, and breweries. The album was produced by the band with help from local legends Jacques Wait (Rank Strangers\, The Twilight Hours) and David J. Join them for an unforgettable night that celebrates growth\, music\, and the beauty of coming full circle. \nThe members of Black Violin met on the first day of orchestra class in 1996. There\, they both attended Dillard High School of the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale. (Baptiste originally wanted to play saxophone in the band. However\, the orchestra teacher assigned him to his class after winning a golf bet with the band instructor.) Classically trained by day\, they faithfully put on their headphones and listened to the hottest rap records each night. Then\, after attending different colleges\, they reconvened\, moved into an apartment together\, and started trying to produce other musicians. \nThey developed an act covering hip-hop songs on their violins\, which became popular in local clubs. Two years after sending in a tape to Showtime at the Apollo\, the show invited to appear— which they won\, and kept winning.
