Hyer is the project of Twin Cities native Jacob Olson. His first album, Wall For Governor, is a folk-driven reflection of the passing of a relative accompanied by lush instrumentation that highlights the nostalgia & reflection throughout. His newest album, Avenue Saints, is a punchier batch of songs that were inspired by the move made to the Twin Cities across state lines.Â
