“Her soulful voice fills every corner… perfect” – The Current   Mayyadda is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Minneapolis. She aspires to use her music to make people slow down, find themselves in another perspective, and feel their way towards individual and collective healing. Further, her sound is an eclectic mix of neo-soul vocals, folksy guitar, pop-style piano with trap beats sprinkled in. She likes to refer to her genre as “BlackGirlMagic.” Active as a recording artist since 2015, she has released six projects since then. Most recently, she released try&remember: the acoustic album. Thus, it is a continuation of 2021’s TRY&REMEMBER with acoustic renditions of some fan favorites and three brand new songs.
