It also resounds louder as time goes on. Haley Reinhart brandishes such a voice. The platinum-selling singer and songwriter is heavily influenced by classic pop and soul acts. For example, the Beatles, Janis Joplin, Ella Fitzgerald, and Sly and the Family Stone inspire her. Further, she exudes an empowering level of charisma and confidence. The gold-certified Chicago-born/Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter has earned her success by way of a quiet, decade-long grind. Additionally, Haley landed third place and became a fan favorite on season ten of American Idol. As a sought-after talent, Haley collaborates regularly with Postmodern Jukebox. She appears on their highest-viewed videos on YouTube (over 300 million views). Haley has also dueted with legendary star Jeff Goldblum on two tracks from his chart-topping jazz standards collection. Furthermore, Haley plays regularly with Robby Krieger of The Doors among other rock legends. She continues to keep her rock ‘n’ roll roots intact. Her take on the Elvis Presley classic “Can’t Help Falling In Love” earned her a gold plaque from the RIAA. Further, it generated over 325 million Spotify streams and 100 million YouTube views within a few years of its release. What started off as a version sung for an Extra Gum commercial turned out to be a chart topping-radio hit and touring sensation. Also, Haley’s remake of the song peaked at Number Seventeen on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. Further, it hit Number Thirty-one on the Billboard Adult Pop Airplay chart. Recommended for fans of Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, Postmodern Jukebox and Morgan James.
The New Havoline Supremes
The New Havoline Supremes
The New Havoline Supremes are a Twin Cities based band, featuring the legendary Mary Cutrufello on guitar and vocals, and Dan Lowinger on guitar. Formed in October of 2023, the band plays a mix of classic country and Mary’s original tunes, and features Greg Schutte (Ryan Bingham, Mickey Hart, Chasity Brown) on drums, and Erik Lillestol (Cafe Accordion) on bass. Mary Cutrufello With 30 years of experience in the music business, Mary Cutrufello is everything from Texas honky-tonk heroine and fiery Midwestern roots-rocker to a powerhouse acoustic performer. Connecticut-raised and Yale-educated, Mary’s musical journey has taken her from the East Coast to Houston and now to Minnesota. Career highlights include: the major label release of ”When the Night is Through,” on Mercury Records in 1998, appearances on national tv shows such as Tonight Show with Jay Leno, appearances at major festivals including Farm Aid, and tours with Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Tish Hinojosa. Mary has seven self-released albums, and has played guitar locally for Annie Mack, Michael Perry and the Long Beds, and many others. A rock and roll band! Killer harmonies, rippin’ solos, cool songs, funny shit in between. Hailed as a country guitarist, Mary Cutrufello grew up on East Coast classic rock. (Yes, think Springsteen!) This tight, taut trio explores her songs old and new with the fearless guitars, stories, and between-song banter she’s known for. Dan Lowinger, a transplant from Portland, OR, is a guitarist steeped in the tradition of Western swing and classic country. Since moving to the Twin Cities in 2017, Dan has become a fixture in the local country and Americana scene, playing on a regular basis with all star Western swing band Honky Tonk Jump, and country rockers Cole Diamond, while also sharing the stage with local greats, Martin Zellar (Gear Daddies), Tony Andreason (The Trashmen), Pat Donohue (Prairie Home Companion) and many others! He has performed regionally and toured nationally with many different country and swing bands from the Pacific Northwest including: The Barn Door Slammers, Ralph Carney’s Pepper Grinders, Vince Mira, and Western Centuries.

Walter Trout
Walter Trout
All of us are broken. However, no one is beyond repair. It’s a philosophy that Walter Trout has lived by during seven volatile decades at the heart of America’s blues-rock scene. The fabled bluesman’s latest album, 2024’s Broken, chronicles the bitter schisms of modern life but refuses to succumb to them. For the last half-century, no matter how rocky his path, hope always lights the way. The beats of Trout’s unbelievable story are well-known: the traumatic childhood in Ocean City, New Jersey. The audacious West Coast move in ’74, and auspicious, chaotic sideman shifts with John Lee Hooker and Big Mama Thornton. The raging addictions that somehow never stopped the boogie when he was with Canned Heat in the early-’80s. Even now, some will point to Trout’s mid-’80s guitar pyrotechnics with John Mayall’s legendary Bluesbreakers as his career high point. But for far more fans, the blood, heart and soul of his solo career since 1989 is the main event. It’s a peerless creative streak underlined by the guitarist’s regular triumphs at awards ceremonies. Trout is a perennial visitor to the Blues Music Awards, SENA European Guitar Awards, British Blues Awards, and Blues Blast Music Awards. The iconic British DJ ‘Whispering’ Bob Harris spoke for millions when he mentioned Trout by name. He declared Trout “the world’s greatest rock guitarist” in his 2001 autobiography The Whispering Years. Trout could mark time and dine out on those past glories if he were a less questing artist. He could relax and leave the polemics and calls-to-arms to a younger generation. But that’s not enough, considers the still-hungry veteran. As the pandemic burnt out, Trout got back to business. In short, the career-long cycle of writing, touring and resting is still as natural to him as breathing. Recommended for fans of Joe Bonamassa, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Sonny Landreth and Eric Gales.

Mid Death Calm w. Garf & Unattractive Giant Monster
From the icy depths of Minneapolis rises Garf, a four-headed Sonic beast born in 2024 and bread for chaos. With names like Mr. Marbles, Whiskers, Babbles, and the elusive Spirit of Mr. Hands, this isn’t your average sludge band-it’s a living, growling entity with claws sharpened on distortion and attitude. Mid Death Calm is a three piece Alt/Rock/Doom band from Minnesota. Unattractive Giant Monster is a post genre, weirdo sewer punk band from the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Fueled by hotdogs and inspired by bands like The Dead Milkmen, Devo, and Diarrhea Planet, UMG is ready to Party.

D.C. Leonhardt And The Night Shift w. The Weeping Covenant
D.C. Leonhardt and the Night Shift bio: Formed in 2024, D.C. Leonhardt and the Night Shift is the full band project of D.C. Leonhardt. Living and working in Minneapolis, Minnesota, D.C. Leonhardt is a mostly traditional folksinger whose songs focus on labor, religion, love, and hard living. His live sets are a blend of story and song, humor and tragedy, all seeking to illuminate the ordinary. D.C. Leonhardt’s debut solo album, (roughly), was released in October of 2024. The band is in the process of recording the next album, The Newer Testament. The Weeping Covenant bio: Based in Minneapolis, MN, The Weeping Covenant is headed by vocalist and songwriter, Michael Beatrez. Writing from a lyrically driven perspective, he generally touches on themes of hope, vulnerability, and love. Beatrez leans into his comfortable sweet spot by singing over soft fingerstyle guitar ballads and rock songs that drive with measured intensity. The music of The Weeping Covenant is rooted in Americana, with pop sensibilities akin to Jeremy Messersmith, piercing storytelling of Jason Isbell, and spacious, sustained vocals that melt into reverb like the ballads of John Denver.
