Friday 1/24/25 – Roz Prickel “New Year, Same Tears” ($15 Cover) at Aster

Roz Prickel is a songwriter, singer, and actress born and raised on the east coast and a Minnesota transplant. She had been writing and playing in the twin cities, entwining striking honesty with fantasy in her folk/pop genre. With beginnings in acting, sketch comedy and vocal performance, she is so grateful to now be able to bring her original work to new audiences. As a multi-instrumentalist Roz had a wide variety of sound ranging from folk to indie-pop to bent musical theatre. Roz has a vibrant angle in her songwriting, as a true storyteller. In her songs, she draws humor and drama from the well of her former studies and the school of life as a single mother, survivor, and believer.
