Vocalist Connie Evingson is known for exploring varied paths within the jazz genre. Her recorded catalog of acclaimed CD’s ranges from jazz standards to the music of Peggy Lee, the Beatles, Dave Frishberg and more, including three titles in the Hot Club style of Django Reinhardt. Patty & the Buttons preach the gospel of hot rhythm and happy feet. Their influences include New Orleans traditional jazz, blues, Hot Club swing and American Popular Song. More than anything, the Buttons are always enjoying themselves, which seems to give audiences permission to do the same!
