UNDER THE CANOPY STAGECedric Burnside began his career drumming for his grandfather, Delta bluesman R.L. Burnside, has won Grammy awards and a National Heritage Fellowship. His music remains deeply connected to his roots, paying homage to his upbringing with a lively combination of rural blues and juke joint R&B. His most recent album Hill Country Love, produced by Luther Dickinson, reflects Burnside’s evolution, blending traditional blues with modern influences.
