Greg Volker is a Minneapolis-based singer/songwriter guitarist. He made a name for himself musically while living in the San Francisco Bay Area for nearly three decade before returning to his home city of Minneapolis. He has toured regionally and nationally, and recorded six albums with bands Deer Crossing, Dirt Road, and Gunpowder. And a solo record titled “Letters to the Beleaguered”. Volker’s music traverses a musical landscape filled with long, thick shadows and flashes of blinding light.Sometimes soft and gentle and at other times jagged and raw, Volker’s music inspires comparisons to the honest and unruly magic of Neil Young and the sonic propulsion of My Morning Jacket. Their sound shares a deep reverence and kinship with alt-country bands of the 90s including The Jayhawks and Son Volt. At its core, American roots music remains the singular force uniting and guiding Volker’s vision with influences like Gillian Welch and Steve Earle. “The Bay Area just might have a contender for the No Depression crown.” ~ Bay Area Music Magazine (BAMM) @gregvolkermusic gregvolkermusic.com danser: bio: danser is a propulsive psych shoegaze pop band from Minneapolis. They are driven by dual guitars which veer from Brit style crunch and ethereal wash to verbed out surf textures. danser is fronted by Ruby Gruidl on bass and vocals, Erik Sexe and Dan Churilla on guitar, and Sam Rainey on drums. Together, danser creates a unique blend of dreamy atmospherics and infectious energy that resonates across generations.
