The Early Planets and Projectile Disfunction at ROK

Mike Wolter formed the Early Planets as a vehicle to perform his original compositions. With over 30 original pieces that draw from a wide variety of influences the group attempts to leave no stone unturned while creating a unique group sound. The Early Planets have a new album, “The Waits/ inBetween Music”, coming out in 2024. The concept of the group is vignettes of melody connected by free improvisation in one long flowing strand of spontaneous composition.
