Comprised of two electrifying individuals, their name alone evokes a sense of urgency and excitement that resonates with audiences worldwide. With their flashy outfits, magnetic stage presence, and unparalleled live performances, Desperate Electric is a force to be reckoned with. Their soulful pop sound is infused with elements of funk, R&B, and disco, resulting in a fusion of timeless melodies and modern production. With catchy hooks, thought-provoking lyrics, and irresistible beats, their music is both uplifting and deeply resonant, serving as a soulful soundtrack for life’s triumphs and tribulations. From somewhere deep within the hydrogen-rich nebula, NGC 2174, a new take on high-powered, horn-driven rock has emerged: Space Monkey Mafia. Founded in 2016, the six-piece band is rooted in the best parts of 90s/00s ska and punk, infused with a healthy dose of contemporary influence, and combined with a lyrical urgency and message to meet the moment. Just like life is like a box of chocolates, and you never know what you’re going to get, Jazicality’s music has never settled for just one genre. There are beautiful days and sad days that come with life. With different genres, Jazicality loves to express herself. Because she has established this way of creating, Jazicality is able to collaborate with multiple artists. Pop music, R&B, rock, and rap are the genres in which Jazicality specializes. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a Minnesota State Arts Board Operating Support grant, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
