Vinnie Rose grew up with a steady IV drip of MTV, sneaking over to his next-door neighbor’s house and staying up into the early hours of the morning, mesmerized by music videos. Big hair, flashy visuals, soaring guitar solos, and infectious synthesizers—he loved it all. I Want My MTV showcases that era featuring some of the most recognizable hits of the ’80s, along with a few hidden gems—customized with Vinnie and his band’s unique, creative twist. A forever student of jazz and classical, Vinnie’s main performance outlet is his solo acoustic live-looping show featuring popular songs of the 60’s though current including selections from his four albums of original music.
