DAVID IS AN EXPLORER OF BEAUTY, DARKNESS, LIGHT, AND MYSTERY.  HIS MUSIC HAS BEEN DESCRIBED AS INNOVATIVE, INTROSPECTIVE, LYRICAL, AND EXPRESSIVE. 

David is a singer/songwriter and fingerstyle guitarist in the tradition of great innovators like Michael Hedges, Nick Drake, David Wilcox, and Billy McLaughlin, who believes music holds the power to reach the deepest parts of our lives and make the world a better place. 

Since the age of 5, when he was gifted a plastic acoustic guitar for Christmas, David has felt the strong pull of music. That modest gift sparked a lifelong connection with guitar and songwriting. By age 14, he played bass guitar, sang, and wrote songs in a Minneapolis rock band. During his “rock band” days, he discovered his love of songwriting and melody, ultimately leading to his focus on acoustic guitar. He found it to be the perfect complement to his evolving songwriting style. 

It wasn’t long before David became completely enamored with acoustic guitar music. Seeing and hearing how artists like Hedges, Drake, Wilcox, and McLaughlin played completely changed his perception of what was possible with an acoustic guitar. Today, David prolifically writes guitar music while integrating his love of melody with heartfelt emotion.

Jill Conzemius bio: As a singer-songwriter, Jill Conzemius finds inspiration in everyday moments. Her vocals showcase her heartfelt soul with an intimate lyrical tone. As a classically trained vocalist, she combines her talented ability with her wide range of alternative folk influences. Her warm approach leaves audiences wrapped in the comforting glow of shared humanity.

Nikki Lemire spins her life around her music, making space to perform in multiple fields and genres. Her songwriting features her expressive vocals over layered and hypnotic accompaniment. She dives deep into moving themes surrounding motherhood, love and loss. Employing modern harp techniques, loop and electric pedals, her songs sit somewhere between the old folk bedrock of Joan Baez, the musical innovation of Joni Mitchell, and the influential pop stylings of Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift. Nikki artfully shapes the music to her words, creating a sound that refuses to adhere to any one particular genre, somehow feeling old and new at the same time.Nikki Lemire has earned accolades from fans and critics alike, setting the stage for the release of her highly anticipated solo debut single “Mend It.” Furthermore, her song “Let the Rain Come In” not only wowed audiences but also secured second- place at the Duluth Dylan Fest 2023 Songwriting Competition, solidifying her place as a promising artist in the industry.
