She visits Cuba frequently and leads music and dance-focused group trips there. In 2023 she joined forces with Grammy-nominated Álvaro Benavides from New York City on bass and Andrew Gillespie from Minneapolis, MN on drums, to form the latest version of her band Beat Zero.
