Mwago Kuria is a Kenyan-born, Minneapolis-based guitarist and singer. Drawing inspiration from artists such as John Mayer, Scary Pockets, and Tom Misch, his unique blend of warm melodic lines and soulful runs makes his music both soothing and captivating. Mwago has performed for the Minnesota Orchestra’s Sommerfest, the Northrop King building’s Art-a-Whirl, and continues to bring his brand of joyful energy to venues across the Twin Cities.
Thomas Richey’s music blends folk, hard rock, and jazz chromaticism to express itself. His lyrics and melodies intertwine to tell complete stories in both words and music.
