Cause For Concern w. Duck Bomb, Threads Electric
Cause for Concern: Cause for Concern is a dynamic 3-piece rock band known for their originality and vibrant energy. Their music features a blend of groovy, blues-infused tracks with psychedelic, fuzzy elements and memorable hooks that leave a lasting impression. Hailing from Minneapolis, MN, the band formed in 2023 and features Max Buffie on lead vocals and guitar, Saren Taing on bass, and Jonathan Magati on drums. Duck Bomb: Founding members Gavin Schultz (vocals and bass), Jonah Beck (guitar) and Josh McCullough (drums) came together in 2021 to form a band. During the release process of Bottom Text (2023), the name Duck Bomb was chosen for the group, with Jacob Wegier (guitar) joining later that year. Influences of pop punk and heavy metal clash to form a high energy modern alternative sound of contrasting highs and lows. Equipped with catchy choruses and lyrical narratives on conflict and growth, Duck Bomb has something for everyone to enjoy, from casual listeners with an itch for something explosive to active listeners with a hunger to dive in. Threads Electric: Indie/ electronic/ rock duo Threads Electric just released their debut album “Breath and Bones.” Multi-instrumentalists Joe Capacete and Brian Perry DIY recorded their album and the result is 100% bangers. Their live performance is expressive, dynamic, and danceable

Unattractive Giant Monster Residency w. Cut Rate Clones, Ruben
Unattractive Giant Monster – Unattractive Giant Monster is a post genre, weirdo sewer punk band from the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Fueled by hot dogs and inspired by bands like The Dead Milkmen, Devo, and Diarrhea Planet, UGM is ready to party. Cut Rate Clones – Cut Rate Clones formed when four dads trawling Craigslist decided to get together to play punk rock instead of joining a bowling league or whatever dads usually do. Since 2022 they have slowly and meticulously crafting a set of original songs reminiscent of late 70s east coast punk and 90s ska punk refined into a modern mash up that will get your head bobbing and your feet skanking. Listening to the Cut Rate Clones will make you smarter, faster, more attractive, increase self confidence, and basically make all your dreams come true. Ruben – Ruben is a Rock ‘n Soul band from various parts of the Twin Cities metro region in Minnesota. With each member taking lead vocal turns, the songs are often rich with beautiful melodies, close 4 part harmonies and warm horns.

The Minnesota-born guitarist, songwriter, and interpreter of traditional music has released 19 albums over two decades and has been known to perform up to 275 shows a year. Parr is a folk troubadour in the truest sense: taking to the road between shows, writing and rewriting songs as he plays, fueled by a belief that music is eternal and cannot be claimed or adequately explained. The bluesman poet pulls closely from the sights and sounds around him, his lyrical craftsmanship built by his influences. The sounds from his working-class upbringing—including Folkways legends such as Lead Belly and Woody Guthrie—imbue Parr’s music with stylistic echoes of blues and folk icons of decades past. Parr sees himself merely as a continuer of a folk tradition: “I feel like I stand on a lot of big shoulders,” he said in an interview. “I hope that I’ve brought a little bit of myself to the music.”Tickets on sale 11/12 at 10:00AM

For 8 years they've been rockin' the Pine Ridge and Rosebud reservations in South Dakota and this year they are expanding to Minnesota, providing camps in Leech Lake, Lower Sioux, and Minneapolis/St. Paul. Kith + Kin Chorus is honored to help support RTRMN in launching this new chapter!Kith + Kin ChorusKith + Kin Chorus is an uncommon community choir in the Twin Cities, open to singers of all skill levels, and 75 singers strong. If you can match a pitch and carry a tune, you can join! Voices are the original instrument and few things are more unifying than voices, raised together in song.Led by founder Rachel Ries (of Her Crooked Heart), K+K Chorus aims to nurture a welcoming, joyful environment where anyone who longs to sing in a choir again (or for the first time!) can. Singers aren't required to be able to read music or have theory training. Songs are taught with the help of sheet music and reference recordings. The song material is a wide, secular mix of classic & indie rock, pop, folk and whatever else inspires, arranged by Rachel and members of the choir. To keep up with growing demand, this past year K+K expanded their programming with occasional Open Sings and the Crash Course Chorus, a 6-week choir session that has already engaged over 200 singers.K + K Chorus gives back to the Twin Cities community by holding a fundraising concert at the end of each season, proceeds of which go to local organizations that strive to make our Cities better, safer, healthier places for all. Over the course of 6 seasons they've raised $57,000 for local organizations like Raíces Sagradas, RECLAIM!, Women of Nations' Eagle's Nest Shelter, Spare Key, Open Arms and CAPI.Let’s fill this hurting world with harmony!LAAMARLAAMAR is the latest project led by Minneapolis-based singer, songwriter, saxophonist, and composer Geoffrey Lamar Wilson. Former frontman of Brooklyn-based Jus Post Bellum, Wilson is also known for his multilayered looped saxophone performances and catchy podcast ditties (Terrible, Thanks for Asking). The band’s debut EP “Flowers” blends Wilson’s idiomatic inspirations bridging folk, soul, R&B, and country with a constant ear toward racial and social justice issues and the shared human experience.“In the EP's deceptively sweet and warm title track, he relays a memory of his mother ‘lighting candles and putting flowers on the boulevard’ in memory of another dead man of color. In the standout track getting airplay on the Current, “Home to My Baby,” he relays his personal fears of getting pulled over by police,” writes Chris Riemenschneider of the Star Tribune. Recent acclaim for LAAMAR includes debut single “Home to My Baby” being named KAXE’s “Best Song” of 2023 and a nod as one of First Avenue’s Best New Bands.“With Flowers,” writes Malachy Koons of KAXE, “LAAMAR has crafted a stunning debut that does not shy away from difficult topics. The new EP features four instantly catchy songs, with each taking a different approach to issues of racial and social justice.”To learn more about LAAMAR:Visit his Linktree page here
